2. What we collect

• Email address. Used to sign you in, send account emails (verification, password reset, account deletion), and contact you about your purchases.
• Password. Stored only as a one-way cryptographic hash by our authentication provider. We never see, store, or have any way to recover your plaintext password.
• Learning progress you create. Which problems you have attempted or solved and which courses you own, so the platform can show your dashboard. This is tied to your account id, not to any outside identity.

We do not collect your real name, phone number, mailing address, or demographic data. We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not build a profile of you across the web.

3. Payments

Course payments are handled by Stripe. When you buy a course, your card details go directly to Stripe — they never touch our servers and we never see or store your full card number. We keep only a record that a purchase occurred (which course, the amount, and a Stripe reference) so we can grant you access and support you. Stripe processes payment data under its own privacy policy.

4. How your data is used

We use the limited data above only to:

• authenticate you and keep your account secure;
• grant and track access to courses you have purchased;
• show your learning progress; and
• send essential account emails (verification, password reset, and deletion confirmation).

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not send marketing spam.

5. Who processes it

We rely on a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments:

• Supabase — authentication and database (stores your email, hashed password, and progress).
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Vercel — hosting and delivery of the platform.

6. Cookies

We use a single essential, first-party session cookie to keep you signed in. It is required for the Service to function and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

7. Data retention and your control

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You are in control: you can delete your account at any time. Deleting your account permanently removes your login, your progress, and your access records from our systems. Some minimal transaction records may be retained by our payment processor where required by law (for example, for tax and anti-fraud purposes).

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Because we collect so little, most of this is already self-service from your account page. For any other request, email us at support@programode.com and we will respond.

9. Security

Passwords are hashed, connections are encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and access to our systems is restricted. No online service can promise perfect security, but collecting almost nothing is itself a security measure — there is very little about you for anyone to lose.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
